Eyes Wide Open

07 Mar 2015 Service – Phil Pringle

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, Ephesians 1:17-20

Eyes of understanding!

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:17

Fear and discouragement closes our eyes to all the possibilities around us. When you start complaining, you give the devil release.

To look at the snake on the pole to get healed, you can’t look at the bite at the same time.

You can’t look at your problem and God at the same time. Open your eyes and see what God is doing.

Sometimes, what we need, what we want, is just right in front of us, but we are blinded by fear and discouragement. Blinded by the devil’s lies.

Don’t be blinded. See what God has done. See what God is doing.
