The Story Of Lazarus (Jn 11)
Lazarus was sick, and Jerusalem to Bethany was only a short distance! (v18)
Jesus could have walked over quickly and “Lazarus wouldn’t have died”.
Is your dream dead?? If you want to see your miracle, remove the stone of the tomb.
But the odour stinks! Does your dream stink now? Are your visions and dreams dead and rotten?
By faith God can revive them!
The Story of Elijah
5 Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.” 6 Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. 7 And the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” 8 So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God. 1 Kings 19:5-8
Elijah was awakened by the touch of God.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
There is a renewal of strength by the touch of God. There is a refreshing.
Your dreams can be dead, but the touch of God can revive and refresh it. Be revived in spirit!
Renewal. Refreshing. Revival. It comes by the touch of God.
