The Peace Maker

Theory: Using evidence or data, which might suggest the theory, but there might be possible alternatives
Laws: there is no possible alternative explanations, no refutes.
The second law of thermodynamics states that the entropy of an isolated system never decreases, because isolated systems spontaneously evolve towards thermodynamic equilibrium—the state of maximum entropy. This just means that in all energy exchanges, if no energy enters or leaves the system, the potential energy of the state will always be less than that of the initial state. This is also commonly referred to as entropy. Entropy is a measure of disorder. The flow of energy maintains order and life. Entropy wins when organisms cease to take in energy and die.
If we disconnect anything in the universe from its external source of energy, it will fall into a state of entropy, and start to decay.
Similarly, you don’t have to do anything stupid to mess up ur marriage,or ur kids, or your life. You just have to do NOTHING.
It’s time to do something!
The busyness of our lives distracts us away and we invest nothing into what we need to. It is the cancer to relationships!
Stop doing everything and do nothing, so that you can do something!
Selah (Hebrew: סֶלָה, also transliterated as selāh):
#1 “stop and listen”, The Amplified Bible translates selah as “pause, and think of that”
Another interpretation claims that selah comes from the primary Hebrew root word salah (Hebrew: סָלָה)
#2 to hang, and by implication to measure. In ancient times, value of an item was hung to determine value (weight)
Sometimes we just need to stop the busyness of life and hang with God.
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
If there is a meaning in life at all, then there must be a meaning in suffering. Suffering is an ineradicable part of life, even as fate and death. Without suffering and death human life cannot be complete. -Viktor Frankl
Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional! Transform ur suffering into an opportunity!!
What do you do with your faith when God doesn’t make sense?
Praise him despite the circumstances, despite the outcome, we praise him all the same.
5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Heb 13:5
Wind and Wave Obey Jesus
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” 39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!” Mk 4:35-41
#1 Cross Over
We don’t experience storms if we sit around doing nothing. Its only when we rise up and do something! The challenge typically follows our stepping out and doing something.
#2 Other Boats
For some, we have revelations, some faith. Those in the other boats don’t know the work of God because they were not in the same boat as Jesus. But be rest assured, that God is doing a work in your life!
#3 Asleep in the stern
Stern: back of the boat, hence has the biggest movements when the boat moves
Jesus is experiencing the highest of highs and lowest of lows when the water moves the boat, but he is still sleeping and experiencing selah.
#4 Beyond panic
Disciples panicked and woke Jesus.
And Jesus responds with ….
First word was peace. He first rebuked the wind, then the seas.
He addressed the unseen things first, then the seen. Address things in the spiritual world first, then the physical!
#6 Be still
Be muzzled, experience selah and “pause, stop and hang” with God.
But yet even after all these, instead of becoming relieved..
..his disciples feared exceedingly even more.
#7 Who is this man who silences the winds and waves??!!
“Who do u say I am??”
Most important question that we need to answer. Who do we say He is?
Sometimes we take our eyes off Him and focus on the storm instead. We need to find some kind of meaning in the storm. Usually the first questionn we will ask is WHY? How can God let this happen? In the midst of ur storm, as long as Jesus is on ur boat, everything’s gonna be ok! When we find some form of meaning in our storm, then suffering is transformed into opportunity.
“Emotion, which is suffering, ceases to be suffering as soon as we form a clear and precise picture of it.” -Viktor Frankl
The way your genes manifests itself is determined by what goes on in your mind!
The challenge for us is not to become hopeless. There’s always something we can do!
In a storm, don’t nurse, curse rehearse, but disperse it and God will reverse it! Keep our eyes firmly fixed on Him!
